A great big “thank you” to Reckson and Djuma for his guest appearance on the game drive today.
WE all thought he was great and especially enjoyed his insight into Djuma from the perspective of having worked here for so many years and having lived in the area all his life. WE loved hearing about the Shangaan traditions and Reckson’s own special brand of ‘reading’ the bush.
Hopefully that is not the last WE will see of him, but he is not currently scheduled to do anymore drives soon.
WE are sure that you enjoyed today’s extra drive. This afternoons drive will be going out 30 minutes late, due to all the extra work preparing for a 3 drive day. Pieter will be driving and Jan will be on camera … enjoy … its in your nature.
A big thank you to Reckson Ntimane.

Nice one WildEarth. I got the cam up just in time for the afternoon drive and then you switch it off. Hence 1 hour later I can’t get the came back. I don’t think this is very fair.
Woke up very early this morning and decided to get up to see what Africa had to offer, and was totally surprised to see a game drive happening at noon. Perfect for those of us on the east coast btw! I was able to get logged on and had a beautiful feed for about 25 mins before getting booted off.
Reckson was a wonderful guide and presenter! I learned so much in a short period of time, and his love of his country and job is so evident in his words. I would love to see more of him, teaching us about the bush and the animals. He and Pieter complement each other in their enjoyment in showing us what Africa has to offer.
Thank you WE for all of this. I look forward to more drives and smoother feeds when more slots are opened up.
Blessings,
Auntie Lyn
Sorry I could not get into the drive. Some of us did and had positive things to say. Hopefully we will see more of Rexon soon!
