Anyone who’s been riding along with us on safariLIVE over the past year will certainly know of Sindile. Shadow’s adorable male cub who tragically encountered a domesticated dog infected with the rabies virus. WE have finally received word on the status of this young beautiful male leopard and, as promised, WE are sharing this moment of discovery with our loyal viewers.

Amazing news this has made my day! Thank you WE. :)
Good news indeed! Sindile deserves a life in the wild. Maybe we will be fortunate enough to see him on a Wild Earth safari.
I am so very happy to hear this news. He is a beautiful cat and deserves to live a free life in the wild. Maybe we have a chance of seeing him on the Wild Earth safaris. That would truly be a gift.
There were people who said he would never return – that we should stop talking about him and move on. I am overjoyed to be one of those that didn't listen, that never gave up on the hope for his future in the wild. Sindile is healthy, free, and home. Never say never.
I am crying tears of joy and happiness!!!!
Absolutely the best news by far this year…welcome home Sindile and hopefully we will get to see you again…well done to all that took care of him and have given him another chance at a free and wild life…Bless you…
what wonderful news for sindile hope he can readjust quickly
Hip Hip Hooray!!!! Hip Hip Hooray!!!
What wonderful news! I'll admit to misting up a bit when I read this. I have thought often of that beautiful boy since that unfortunate encounter with the dog. Whatever happens, he is now where he is meant to be, living free in the wild. Live long and well, Sindile. You have truly lived up to your name.
That is FABULOUS news! I bet I know some guides who will be looking for him if he comes onto their traversing properties. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Oh my Gosh!!!! I am so relieved that he will not have to endure bars for the rest of his life. I so hope we will get to see him again on drive and that he will thrive. He has some challenges, that is for sure, but at least he is FREE!
This is fantastic news. Hopefully he will soon forget his quarantine experience and get back to being a normal wild leopard without any problem. Hope we get to see him on the SafariLIVE drives soon.
Wonderful news! Can't wait to hear more updates!!!
This is one of the best news ever! Many of us had lost the belief to release Sindile ever. We can now hope that he will deal with everything just fine back home. He is a survivor inherently! Interesting times ahead!
You did it Sindile!
Thank you so much for letting us know–and that this wonderful decision has been made. We wish you good luck, good hunting and good health Sindile!
I am so pleased to learn he is being given a chance to live as he should-as a wild, free leopard. And I hope he does well.
Thanks for the long awaited good news. "Live long and prosper, Sindile".
