WE have always believed in a strong and healthy relationship with our viewers, based on trust and two-way feedback. That’s why WE need your help! WE are always trying to improve your daily LIVE wildlife experiences in the best ways possible. In order to do this, WE’d like to hear from you. Your thoughts and feelings about safariLIVE are hugely important to how WE decide to enhance your connection to the wilderness.
So, WE have put together a brief survey to collect some important information and data on how you, the most important part of this experience, interact with and feel about safariLIVE.
Our mission is to provide you with authentic animal action in real time, 100% free of charge and with none of those annoying ads interrupting your adventures through Africa. WE are NEVER EVER going to charge our oldest nor our newest viewers for the chance to experience Africa on their own personal guided safari experience.
But WE are interested to find out if YOU would like to become a verified digital member of safariLIVE. This enhanced service would include perks such as verified sightings lists of all your favourite mammals, birds and reptiles as well as the chance to compare your sightings lists with other safariLIVE members. Additional perks such as chats with your favourite guides and access to unique and limited edition t-shirts to mark special safariLIVE events will also be available to members. WE are also considering the option of donating a portion of these membership fees to various conservation and social initiatives to further ensure the protection of the planet’s wildest areas.
Nothing has been set in stone yet, which is why WE are asking YOU for your highly valued opinions and feedback. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes of your day to complete. Once completed you will receive a gift to say Thank You for your time.
WE can’t wait to hear what YOU have to say, click here now to be taken directly to the survey. Again, you are the most important part of what WE do and WE only ever want to enhance your experience of the wilderness!
I understand the need for the SafariLive logo on screen for copyright protection but does it have to be so intrusive? It seems every day it gets lower and lower as well as further left towards the middle. At this rate it will soon be in the middle of the screen. Where it is sitting today it is extremely distracting, taking away the experience of the presenters as well as the safari itself. It seems the location placement is connected with the school drive banner attached to it. While it is marvelous that schools are participating and interacting with SafariLive, why can’t there be a narrow “school drive ribbon” at the bottom of the screen instead and the copyright circle nestled into the upper right corner? I’ve been watching SafariLive since Nov 2014 everyday, twice a day, and love it!
When can I use live chat again?
I started watching the live drive about a year ago and am now hooked. I watched Hosana and Xongile grow up. I love seeing all the cats and many other animal but it is when you see certain ones growing up, etc, that gets most hooked. Now, sadly, we rarely get to see or have reports on Xongile. I wish you guys had access to more property so we could follow many of the animals they their lives. It drives me crazy. Or knowing how one of the animals we get close to are doing.

Dear Amanda, what is the name you choose? ” Wild Earth”. Do you think the name is justifiable?. The Apt will be “Wild Africa”. If you want to justify the name ” Wild Earth”. You have have to expand out of Sabi Sand and Mara and most approriately out of Africa also. Many of the people are passionatey viewing this program. You showed be able to give them a platter instead only a dish, sometimes drives shirnk to an extend of only finding “Cats”, we are watching Wild Earth not only cats, moreover you are doing school drives, kids must be provided with more information about wild, Animals small and big, reptiles whatever there in the wild. This is just my observation only.
hi Louise will there be an app invented in the future to download from App Store so we can view on iPhones
Many thanks Amanda UK
When will I be able to use chat again?
There is a lot of chatter right now on FB about the question sent to the presenters, Mostly it appears to the viewers that the questions being asked are from the same people over and over, and those of us who ask are never acknowledged and our questions go unanswered. This is sad, we hope you can spread out the questions to more then just a few I know there are a lot of unhappy viewer right now. I love the fact that we the viewer can interact, In just over 1 year of 2 drives a day viewing with you I have one had 1 question answered ever,
Hi. I am one of your enthusiastic viewers, watching virtually every day when possible. When you guys celebrated your 10th birthday, I went online to buy one of the Tshirts. I wanted to support Wild Earth wherever possible. However, when I finally received the Tshirt, I was horrified to see that I ended up paying around R700 for it. If all that went to Wild Earth, that’s fine, but I was astonished to realise that it came from the USA. (Why not SA? Surely someone in SA can supply Tshirts!!) So I paid for the Tshirt, plus postage and packaging from America, plus R200 customs duty. So out of R700, you guys probably got R100. The rest of it went to third parties, or the customs people. I find that ridiculous. I will certainly never support you guys like that again. You will need to change your suppliers and way of providing memorabilia. Please look into this. I still love you guys!!
