To say the past four weeks of safariLIVE: The Gauntlet have been epic would be a true understatement. From the phenomenal natural spectacle that is the Great Migration in Kenya, to the unusually social antics of the Djuma leopards, the gauntlet has been more than just thrown down. It has been stalked, it has been pounced on, it has brought us new life at the North Clan hyena den and superseded our expectations on big cat behaviour. Most of all, The Gauntlet has showcased the wilds of Africa, her tragedies, her triumphs and her battles exactly as they have played out for millennia.
Yet there is one more rehearsal gauntlet for the safariLIVE crew to face leading up to the fifth and final episode of this remarkable series. As with prior rehearsals the sunrise drive on 24 August will be a private crew rehearsal leading into a one hour open broadcast on the safariLIVE YouTube channel. However there is another important change to the safariLIVE schedule for the sunrise safari on 26 August. The crew across both locations have been working hard to bring you all the wild animal action and as a result they will have a well deserved and much needed morning off. The safariLIVE schedule will continue as normal from the sunset safari on 26 August.
