We are proud and excited that we have managed to secure Tristan Dicks, our resident leopard whisperer, to host a WildEarth Expedition in 2020! So, if you have always dreamt of being on safari with Tristan now is your chance.

This Expedition will have you stay at Djuma’s newly-built Tumbeta lodge. A stay at Tumbeta will provide an intimate experience as it only has room for six guests. Furthermore, it offers a photographic hide, an outdoor sleeping platform for the brave (with mosquito nets), a swimming pool and a direct view of Gowrie Dam from its deck.

Add to that being guided and hosted by Tristan, and this will be the safari of a lifetime!

This being a WildEarth Expedition, you will also get to meet some of our crew, engage with Graham and Emily Wallington, visit Jurie Moolman’s museum and the WildEarth Schools program, and much more.

This Expedition will take place from September 21st – 26th, 2020. The cost for this unique 6 day/5 night experience is $3,800 per person sharing or $7,600 if you do not want to share your room.

Bookings will open at the end of the Sunset drive on Saturday, December 21st (19:00 CAT, 9 AM PST, noon EST, 17:00 GMT) and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. As there are only a total of 6 places available, we do expect them to sell out very quickly.

WE hope to welcome you at Djuma with Tristan next year!
