Dear WE community,
As most of you know WildEarth went on our second Expedition to Djuma in December 2019. WE were joined by 20 amazing people from around the world. Emily and I met everyone at OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg, South Africa and then flew together down to Hoedspruit from where we travelled by road to Djuma.
On arrival at Vuyatela and Galago camps, we were met by Stefan Winterboer and the whole Djuma team. This video starts at that moment and shows much of the amazing adventure we all shared together. It’s all filmed by the guests and I edited it together. Actually, I finished it on December 19th, but in the headlong rush to go on vacation it kinda got lost and for that, I am very sorry. I am grateful that some were able to go experience what we have have all watched and fallen in love with. Watching this I was so overwhelmingly happy, I cried thru most of it. We see the animals twice a day and they eere cool to see but to see people actually interacting with each other and the people really brought it closer to home. I may never be able to experience it, I am so very happy that some are. I am also grateful for Wildearth/Safarilive and pray there are ways to keep it going and increase.
