As many of you will have seen from this morning’s sunrise safari, WE have partnered with EcoTraining who are pioneers and leaders in safari guide and wildlife training here in Africa.  EcoTraining is widely recognised by the safari industry for its credibility and standard of excellence in nature guide training. All courses are run directly from EcoTraining’s unfenced bush camps in prime wilderness areas across South Africa, Botswana, Kenya and Zimbabwe.

To begin with, WE have partnered with EcoTraining at Karongwe Game Reserve. Karongwe Camp is on the banks of the Karongwe River (mostly a dry river bed) in the 9 000ha (22 239-acre) Karongwe Game Reserve, which is to the south-west of the Kruger National Park.

In addition to this wonderful news, we are super excited to have Tayla McCurdy back and gracing our screens again. Many of you will recognise her as the bubbly guide who guided for WildEarth both in South Africa and the Maasai Mara. For those who don’t, Tayla was born in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and when she left high school she was determined to live and work in the bush. Holding guiding qualifications in both South Africa and Zambia, she has guided and managed 5-star lodges across the globe along with training guides in Sri Lanka and now is an instructor for EcoTraining.
