We have been fortunate and honoured to have once again been able to bring you the wildebeest migration from the Maasai Mara in Kenya this year. WE love the Mara and would have loved to make it a permanent feature in our broadcasts again. However, while our situation is slowly improving, we still need to be very prudent with our spending and the Mara is a very expensive location to operate from.
We, therefore, had to make the decision to end our current broadcast run there on November 30th and close our camp for the time being. As on previous occasions, we are committed to not make this a final goodbye and intend to return as soon as we can afford to do so.
Let us all enjoy and savour the remaining two weeks in this magical piece of Africa!
The program is not the same without Isaac and Tim, the current lot are boring to say the least.
I was born in Kenya and loved watching the Mara and their great hosts. I hope they come back very soon as it definitely was a highlight of the safari. Nice watching it from Canada. Guides, keep up the great job!
WE has been amazing to watch. Isaac and Tim had me hooked! I have been searching YouTube for Bahati updates and the Lioness and cub from the Oloololo Pride.
Miss the Mara broadcasts. Not watching so often now.
|Really sad…I miss “Jumbo Jumbo” and the humour these two guys always attached to the sightings
Great loss as it was the highlight of WildEarth live safaris even after the migration. Guides Tim and Isaac and their camera men were excellent – thank you. As a South African used to the ‘bushveld’ the East African savanna is such a different and awesome environment for game watching. Spent a few days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro last year (with as good a guide) and having found Wild Earth during the lockdown have been able to spend many more days in the Mara on the live safaris . Even downloaded a map of the area from the ‘net to try and locate where the vehicles were using the Oloololo Escarpment as a reference point. Will miss the Mara Triangle!
You were the best of all the Wild Earth broadcasts. So sorry to see you go. Come back soon. Good luck
I was wondering why I didn’t see any broadcasts from the Mara over the last few days. Sad to read that this location has been closed. My wife and I enjoyed watching this location the most. Isaac’s “Jambo Jambo” welcome was always a great start to my morning! Both he and Tim were excellent guides and I enjoyed learning so much about that part of Africa. Not sure what it will take to reopen that location, but I hope that WildEarth is able to do this soon, or try to bring those guides into other locations if possible.
How wonderful it was to watch and learn about wild life of the Maasai Mara. The vastness of the plains and the beauty thereof, is very refreshing.
Jumbo jumbo Isaac and Tim! The manner in which you displayed your knowledge about wildlife in Maasai Mara is unbelievable and appreciated.
Obakeng Medupe and all other guides, thank you for the wonderful job that you are doing, bringing wildlife to our homes. I hope that we are all going to learn about wildlife and start travelling the length and breadth of our country.
Thank you
Hi as all I’m also sad that WE has stopped the tours in the Maasai Mara but I understand it. I thank Tim, Bungei and Isaac, David for all the great pictures, expliations
and stories – it was just amazing and the best tour on WE as I found.
I am really sad about this – the Massai Mara were my favorite segments – and Tim and Issac my favorite ‘tour guides’ – please bring them back as soon as possible
Wow. That is such sad news. Isaac, David and Tim have brought this magical place right into our home. We have got to know them, and enjoyed getting to know the various ‘regulars’ on their game drives. Their knowledge of the Mara is amazing. It has been an enriching experience. Hope to have them back before too long.
I miss the Masai Mara – the broadcast and live daily safari is not the same without it – it made my day. So sorry, but I will not be watching as regularly as I did!!! The broadcast is definitely not the same quality without the Mara.
I am missing Isaac and Tim and all the beauty of the Mara. I just discovered you a few months ago, I am 82 and quarantining alone. The safaris are the best part of my days now. All the guides are great, but Isaac and Tim are my favorites, they always find something unusual and are so informative.
Amen, Ditto! I have been hooked but have been looking for
Amen, Ditto! Little disappointed without them. No Bahati cub!
That is so sad to hear. I hope Tim, David and Isaac will be back on air from the Mara very soon. It’s been so nice to see how different the Mara is in comparison to the locations in South Africa.
Very, very sad about not being able to see rhe Mara anymore. Great loss
I have so enjoyed the wonderful experience of viewing and learning about the Mara and the fascinating animals, with the help of Isaac, Tim and David. I pray that they will return. It’s truly awesome that this retiree from small town Illinois USA can be transported everyday on these safaris. My heartfelt thanks to you. Glen S.
I am also very sad to see the broadcast from Maasai Mara are being discontinued. Even though I enjoy all areas of the safaris Maasai Mara is my favorite because of its beauty, animals and excellent guides. They are all great and Isaac makes me laugh at times how he describes what the animals are doing. I am retired and always wanted to go on safari but it was too expensive and far away for me. But EVERYDAY I am on either a sunrise or sunset safari in my arm chair. It is very entertaining and I have learned a lot from your very knowledgeable guides. It has been especially helpful during all the time we all are to be staying inside because of covid. Thanks for being very much a highlight of my days!
I totally agree. Now that CA is going back into lockdown, the visits with Tim and Issac were the best part of my day. I have just become an Explorer so I can help bring them back.

I am devastated to know that we will not be seeing and hearing Isaac and Tim from the Maasai Mara. It was absolutely the very best segment! Hope to see both of them and the Mara real soon!!!
We loved listening to Tim and Isaac. Such beautiful sightings in the Mara—my favorite location on WildEarth. They will be missed. Hopefully you can broadcast from there again soon.
Very sad they have stopped broadcasting from the Mara. Enjoyed Tim and Isaac.
Will miss the wonderful transmission from the Mara. The guides are so informative and are great teachers. They also have a unique sense of humor.
Oh no so sad I loved listening to the Mara hides their knowledge of the wild was amazing .. will def miss the greetings “Jumbo jumbo “ hope they return very soon
Why the Mara?
So sad to say goodbye to the Mara and Isaac and Tim. It has been wonderful with great camera work. Hope it will be back soon.
I have fallen in love with the beauty of the Mara. Thanks to the wonderful knowledge of the guides and their wonderful landscapes, I have booked my next trip to Africa in 2022 and I’m heading to the Mara for the first time. I’ll be on the lookout for Issac, Tim and David and the videographers as I traverse with the lions, wildebeests, etc. thank you WE for bringing this to us.
I will miss Isaac. Hope to hear from him soon.
So sad to hear about Mara. Are their any plans to bring Serengeti to wild earth Tv? Also what does it take to bring other African bush safaris?
We will miss you Isaac. I have loved watching you and the Lillyphants. I hope you come back soon. I miss David too. Thank you for your endless knowledge.
Wow. Thank you to the Guides from the Mara. Sad news. Going to miss the Mara.
Miss the Mara and guides who brought it to us with their sightings and amazing knowledge.
SO, SO SAD that we are going to be saying farewell to Isaac and Tim. The relaxed way that there segments are presented are brilliant, and they are so full of knowledge and annicdotes and they both so obviously love the wildlife Is there any way that we can be kept up to date about the progress of baby Jaseri, and the new young lion cubs we have recently seen. I only started watching Wild Earth a few months ago and really loved David’s segments. What a wonderful, sensitive soul he is! I am totally addicted to Wild Earth and seeing Kenya so intimately has been a magical experience. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.
I have become an avid Wild Earth Digital safari enthusiast! My husband and I visited the Kruger National Park every year for many years while he was alive. I am now a pensioner, unable to travel on my own and I miss the visits to the Bush. So your digital safaris have been the highlight of my days since your program aired. I will miss Isaac and Tim. I wish them both well and may they continue to love and cherish the remarkable place that is the Maasai Mara. To all the Guides , each and every one of you. Thank you for filling my days with the wonder of animals. Your passion is inspiring. Your knowledge is mind blowing, and above all, your love for the Bush is so obvious. Keep up the good work. I have learnt so much from you on this program. I think you are all incredible. You each have your own unique stryle and you make an old woman’s day very meaningful. You are much appreciated! Take care , keep safe and know that there is an old lady who appreciates every moment she shares with you and the remarkable animals of the African bush.
I am so sorry that the Mara broadcast will end, I’m still waiting to hear whether Bahati the lion cub has been found? Isaac and Tim will be very missed with their magical broadcast with the beautiful sunrise and sunsets I trust that their return will be soon,
Sad to hear they are stopping…excellent work from all at WE…Isaac and Tim, Bungei and big James. Look forward to their return when possible…absolute lifeline all the drives have been and still are…thank you …Sue Moore UK
Oh my goodness 🥺. I’m so sad to hear this. I have really enjoyed the beauty and diversity of the Masi Mara!!! And our course Isaac and Tim. Such knowledgeable and interaction with us, the audience! And the humor🤗. You all will be missed!!! Blessings and hope to see you all very soon🙏🏼
Thank you for the WE and the Maara
Keeping me company on my ICU ‘s “time offs”;)
Will wait for Isaac and Tim comeback!
We feel so sad about this. Their two Guides are charming, knowledgeable and so friendly and their excellent cameramen as well. We say a heartfelt THANK YOU to them. Their love for the Mara shines through and is so infectious. Well done guys and thank you to the Management Teams as well. We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you soon. Isaac, please hug the ‘lil Lilyphants goodbye from me…..but hopefully you all will be back again…soon. Regards, Bruce and Jenny M.
Very very sad as I’m going to miss the beautiful Mara and incredible guides Issac and Tim. I hope Kenya will be back soon. I visited it with my sister in 2000 and loved the people and safaris. I plan to become an explorer. I only came to Wild Earth this spring. I appreciate the professional experienced guides and awesome wild life. My Mother and I have breakfast together most mornings with safari drives on my iPad.
Thank you thank you 🙏🏼
I will miss the Mara but understand the situation. Isaac and Tim are exceptional guides. Hopefully we can return to the Mara very soon. Thank you Wild Earth for bringing this live safari to people everywhere.
Awww. bummed out. Love the mara but understand your position. I will miss Isaac’s segments a lot!!! Hears to hoping you will return asap! Thank you for bringing all these safari’s to we the people!
Love this location the most. Hopefully will be back again! I will miss Isaac teaching us about the Maasai Mara.
Very very sorry to hear that the broadcasts from the Mara will be discontinued. Your broadcasts have been a bright spot for my husband and
I during this difficult pandemic year. We will surely miss the game drives hosted by Tim and Isaac. They are both so excellent in their knowledge and expertise in all the Mara has to offer. Hoping they will both return when the funding returns. Best, Marisa Abramo and Hiroshi Nakajima Tucson, Arizona
Sorry to hear that. Have been loving the crossings there.Made me wanna visit.
Richard
Thank you for bringing the Maasai Mara to us. Heard so much about the annual migration and finally got to see it for myself. Hope to rejoin these wonderful guides once again in the not too distant future
It’s been a joy to have the Mara for however long…GG, Issac and all…we will miss you..God bless and Thank you WE for ALL you do…
Thank you for bringing this wonderful show with the animals, wildlife, nature, and awesome guides into my life. I will greatly miss the show and be praying and counting down the days until it’s back on.
It is a great shame that you are stopping viewing at the Mara as it’s the most beautiful location with great guides and incredible animals. I understand why but hope if finances improve you will go back soon. Also could you tell me what you are doing about the awful hunting safaris that are so numerous in South Africa. I went on a few of their websites (they were in the hundreds) and saw you could kill with rifle or crossbow, this seems really cruel in these days, it’s about time this was stopped.
will miss the Mara so much…it is the highlight of my day
Thanks for bringing us to the Mara and all the WE locations once again, perhaps the most positive viewing anyone can experience short of being there. Hoping to see the Mara again in the near future and wishing for WE’s great success. Marjorie/TX
Very sad. Isaac and Tim are so clued up and good
Oh noooo😭. Love the Masai with its beautiful Savannah’s and excellent guides! David , Isaac, Tim, thanku for your unbelievable knowledge and love of our wild Earth! You have kept us grounded in this very strange and unsettling year and watching WE immensely restorative . Thank you and please hurry back!
Before you leave us, please send news of Jesuri!
Things have changed so much with WE! The Mara is such a wonderful place and so many animals to learn about. So Glad that we could view it while we did
No this is not good! We need to raise money to continue this location! There is so much going on there. The lion prides for one. This cannot end now. Please can we donate money to continue??
While we will certainly miss the Mara we have enjoyed every minute we have spent there and will hopefully get to enjoy it again. If not then we enjoyed it while it lasted. Thanks for all of your hard work
Agree with Tony completely! We’ll take any time we can get in the Maasai Mara.
Thank you WE for all you do for the world.
I’ve so enjoyed experiencing the Maasai Mara through your wonderful guides and cameramen. Thank you to them and your production team. I’m hoping you’ll be able to return there sooner than later.
Thank you We for transmitting from the Mara. It’s indeed a place of magic and wonders. Hopefully we can all enjoy it, once again, in the very near future
Thank you for returning to the Mara, one of the worlds most incredible wild places. The annual wildebeeste migration is magnificent, the big cats, the crocs, the river and nature’s seemingly cruel conclusions make for unrivalled viewing. I do understand the need to curtail your presence but always hope you will return July – October next year, i just love it.
I love watching the broadcasts from the Mara!! I really hope you can bring it back in the future :)
Thank you WE for the Mara broadcasts, absolutely magical and all the guides are awesome.
Jumbo jumbo we will miss you all in the mara .. Isaac David and Tim..see you soon …
Shame the Mara drives are ending (albiet temporarilly), but glad they’ll be starting again next year.
So sad not to have your broadcasts. Best of them all. Come back soon. Good luck
So sad 😢 going to miss the Maara. Looking forward to seeing you back in the near future
