During the past year, WildEarth and Tswalu have enjoyed bringing you many hours of great live content from this unique piece of South Africa. However, due to a number of ongoing technical and logistical issues, we have had to make the difficult decision to pause filming and broadcasting from Tswalu for the foreseeable future. On behalf of the Tswalu and WildEarth teams, we’d like to thank you all for your participation and support over the past year and feel blessed to have been able to share the wonders of the southern Kalahari with you.

Dylan was the best, with his regular visits to the meerkats, and knew where the Aardvark, Pango etc were, showing the variety of the ecosystem rather than just cat cat cat.
I really miss the broadcasts from Tswalu. The different landscape made a welcome change from the bushveld. The presenters were great and it was wonderful to follow the animals, birds and insects unique to that place. Mostly I will miss the wide open vistas and sunsets. I hope they come back soon.
I’m so sorry that we are unable to visit Tswalu anymore. The stunning landscapes and variety of animals was second to none – those sable antelope and gemsbok, fabulous. Thanks so much to the brilliant guides. It was a real privilege to join you.
I found Wild Earth thru Tswalu’s posts online last year when the pandemic caused us to cancel our much-anticipated trip to Tswalu. On the plus side – we will travel to Tswalu, hopefully in 2023, and I now watch Wild Earth every day….Thank you one and all for these adventures.

I’ve really been missing Tswalu and thought maybe I’d just missed segments or COVID interfered, but after a couple weeks of not knowing I decided to search the blog. I truly hope they will be able to rejoin in the future. They were great presenters, the red soil was like several areas in Arizona were I grew up (and visits to Utah) that soil is magic and the variety of antelope was amazing. Let’s all hope they’ll be back.
Having Tswalu join WE and Safari Live last year was one of the best things ever! The location is spectacular and so unique, as well as being different from the other WE locations. The guides were wonderful, all of them! I am a desert person and having Tswalu on board made my day. I miss them so much, and I look forward to having them back at some time in the future.

So sorry that we cannot see the stunning scenery and rare animals at Tswalu.
After losing Masai Mara previously this is a double whammy.

I will never forget the enthusiasm that came through the screens from Dylan in the early months of the covid pandemic that made my day that bit better and sometime felt light “christmas everyday”

Definitely a loss. Hopefully those issues will be resolved and we can continue to see more from the amazing Kalahari.
I’ve got to check this blog more often. I just noticed Tswalu was not on the weather screen so I came here to see what was happening. Definitely going to miss seeing the Kalahari, but someday I’ll get there in person.
