Connecting kids with nature
Inspiring the next generation of conservation ambassadors
What we do
We take kids ages 4-18 on free, live and interactive safari experiences, transporting them from wherever they are onto the back of a virtual safari vehicle!
For 45 minutes, kids join safariLIVE and tour two of the most iconic wildlife areas in the world – the Kruger Park of South Africa and the Maasai Mara in Kenya. They interact with our expert naturalists in real time as they drive through the African wilderness, asking questions about what they see.

Who we are
We are a team of filmmaking professionals passionate about wildlife, with a core mission of connecting people (young and old) with nature. We are safariLIVE.
With decades of experience and access to the latest technology, we bring the African wild to thousands of viewers all over the world. We broadcast live from two spectacular locations in Africa – the Kruger Park of South Africa and the Maasai Mara in Kenya.
Your live safari experience
safariLIVE is an award-winning daily interactive broadcast, hosted by expert naturalists from South Africa and Kenya.
Live safari sessions are limited to four groups at a time and while we have thousands of viewers that watch the show live, our naturalists only answer questions from the four groups signed up for a session.
Look out for animals including elephant, lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe and hippo. Marvel at birds and appreciate beautiful flowers, trees and landscapes.

See what past participants had to say
“safariLIVE has been an amazing educational experience for my students! As part of the original pilot program in the United States, I have seen the program grow to what it is today. It is extremely easy to schedule tours, interact with the guides and the students are engage and inspired by the entire safariLIVE adventure. It’s a global experience that breaks down the classroom walls by bringing experts into the classroom that are continents away! It is truly engaging the minds of our youth and inspiring future conservationists.”
“safariLIVE provides such an incredible and once in a lifetime experience for our patients and families who call Children’s National their home away from home. The program allows our patients to be transported to a world in which they may have not experienced – without leaving the comfort and security of their hospital bed! The mission of Seacrest Studios is to provide an uplifting distraction for our patients during their treatment, but also to promote healing through creative and engaged play. We wholeheartedly agree that safariLIVE is engaging, entertaining and educational, which correlates with our mission to inspire today’s youth through our programming.”
Frequently asked questions
Will we see anything too graphic during the safari?
We understand that nature can be graphic. We’re committed to avoiding overly graphic content during WildEarth Kids sessions, such as mating, hunting, carcasses, etc. Should graphic content be available during your session we will always ask you for permission before putting in on the show. You reserve the right to decline that content.
Will this work with my class curriculum?
It is important to realise that WildEarth Kids and safariLIVE are not classrooms and there is no agenda or curriculum in the show. While we appreciate the opportunity to connect the content of these live safaris to what your kids might be learning, our naturalists will always focus their discussion on what is happening on safari.
What role does Skype play during the session? Do we Skype directly with the naturalists?
No. We will not use the video or call function of Skype. We only use the Skype messenger function during a Kids session. That is where you will submit your kids’ questions during the live safari.
Can we join multiple classes together, in one session?
In certain situations we do allow multiple classes to merge together for a live safari experience. However, this detail needs to be shared at the time of booking and the WildEarth representative assisting with your booking will confirm whether or not we can accommodate such a large group.
What animals are we likely to see?
The most common animals we see on safari are impalas, kudus, warthogs, elephants, hippos, lions, leopards, giraffes and various bird species
Where can I send thank you cards and/or videos?
In return for your live safari experience, we encourage you to send thank-you videos, pictures, drawings or letters, from the kids. These can be sent to vt.ht1571581027raedl1571581027iw@sd1571581027ik1571581027. **Unless permissions are specified by you, these will remain private, and shared only amongst the WildEarth crew. They help us to connect with the young minds we reach through the WildEarth Kids Program.
