Due to unprecedented levels of traffic some of our viewers outside of South Africa may be experiencing difficulty accessing the WildEarth stream, or find that the stream buffers a lot.
Telkom Media and WildEarth are working as hard and as fast as we can to keep up with demand and hopefully soon we will have more bandwidth to our international viewers.
Thank you for all your positive feedback. We will continue to try and produce the best live wildlife experience on the web. Its in our nature.
Huge traffic to WildEarth!!

Well, it was fun. Thanks for the rides, but now I can’t get it. Back to the old water hole and back to Mashatu’s Pete’s Pond in July.
Hope we can do this again sometime. I really enjoyed Pieter’s drives.

Hi.I am fast becoming a fan of Djuma and the Wild Earth Game Drives.Unfortunately, the Live feed for the 8th and 9th of May,is absolutely dreadful, and it spoilt Tuesday 8th Mays PM Game Drive with Pieter.Only about 30 minutes was visible in parts. I do hope it will improve for 9th May onwards.
Many thanks for running this cam and the drives. I’m missing my morning viewing when I get into work. I hope to see you up and running for the international viewers soon. I just love this as I was an avid watcher of Africam in it’s day. You have an awesome team. All the best.
I ditto everything that was aid by anonymous in the post above this one. I love Pieter as a guide. Just wish I could see him to enjoy it, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to get into.
It is now 5:00pm PDT in California. I have been trying and trying to get in since I figure the traffic wouldn’t be as great as you are still in the dark, but still cannot gain access.
Can you please give us an idea on how long it might be before you get some additional bandwidth to take care of this problem?
I do hope the bandwidth can be increased. It is so difficult to access WildEarth and when I do the video and sound cut in and out and most of the time is spend buffering. I enjoy the rides and would enjoy them more if they weren’t so choppy.
I love Pieter as our guide and Jan as our photographer. A winning team.
amazing concept – good luck!!
